Dr. Dezheen (Dee) Zebari serves as the Medical Director for GoDocs. She is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Disaster Medicine Physician with a Fellowship in Disaster Medicine/Management from Harvard Medical School Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Dee was born in Kurdistan, fled the country in 1996 and arrived at the United States military base in Guam. She eventually arrived in upstate New York. Dr. Zebari always imagined herself becoming a doctor and working in austere/challenging environments. To fulfill her dreams, she went to NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and did her anesthesiology residency at UMASS/Baystate Medical Center. Dee is the current Medical Director at AMI Expeditionary Healthcare which is a for profit company that provides medical services to international aid organizations, humanitarian concerns, the private sector and government agencies in challenging environments and disaster medicine response.
